Lights can be Spots, Floods, Infinite. Each with their own Dropoffs, color, intensity, and movement.
Point a spot by Viewing from the spotlight .
Floods make nice practical lights.
Place your Inf. (sunlight) away and from the side. Try the look at tool.
The corona or edge of the spot can be varied.
Sometimes a scene may need lighting for each object or area.
A light can be glued into an object. Lights can be keyframed to blink or flicker.


Navigating lights, objects, or views (1).
Object; orbits you around selected object.
World; dollies like a boom or crane shot.
Screen; rotates like a fixed tripod.
The L or R arrow keys select the next obj. in scene.(2)
Lights, and cameras can be viewed from or POV'd. (3)
Learn to constrain movement in X, or Y axis.
The 3dr setting rough renders in near real time.
