This image is a composite of

1. rendered columns,
2. a photo sunset backdrop,
3. and a rendered chrome sphere reflecting a similiar scene with columns, hands and a 3-d head.

The virtual camera for the sphere was directly under the face's chin.

The elements were layered in photoshop with the crater detail generated with an embossed texture.
