JDB GRAPHX 98-99 3D GALLERY

Under Construction
PTHHHHH!

From jdbgrphx.com, I'm pleased you are visiting my newer gallery. As a hobbiest, I've modeled and rendered these images myself to enjoy, learn new techniques, and explore 3D Animation. ",

JDB GRAPHX, During 1998 and 1999 I attended two more classes in Photoshop, and one workshop in Lightwave 5.6. I've begun to freelance my skills in TrueSpace for prototype design and some graphic art visualization.

"OOOOOHHHHHH!.

I modelled the head when I first started and got frustrated. Then, Toy Story 2 came out so I re-did it and finished him off at about 2300 polygons. Clic the pic for more details.

"Lost in Space Robot B9.

This one I modelled pretty fast from 3 postcards I found. About 4 or 5 nights. I did a Lightwave conversion for a seminar at Comic con this year. Clic the pic for more details.

"Lady P Fight.

I bought a dreamcast in 99, and loved the rendering of Soul Calibur. so I wanted to see if I could do a figure in low polygon modes. Also my first attempt at a human. Clic the pic for more details.

"2001 Discovery.

I found a Discovery online, but it was about 125,000 polys with the reapeating pieces gone. I re-built it and rendered this for a New Years joke-a-gram. The 'Pod' I made last year. Clic the pic for more details.

"STAP and Battle Droid.

I did this one as a race to see how fast I could and to experiment with Hierarchies and joint rotations. The Lightwave conversion is easier to animate. Clic the pic for more details.

The pictures below are to show you that I did a lot more than these after work.
